- Blocked Websites List: The URLs and categories of websites you choose to block
- Extension Settings: Your preferences such as whether blocking is enabled or disabled
- Focus Mode Data: Timer settings and schedule preferences (if using focus features)
3. How We Use Your Information
The information collected is used solely to:
- Block access to websites you have specified
- Remember your blocking preferences between browser sessions
- Provide focus mode and scheduling features
4. Data Storage and Security
- Local Storage Only: All your data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage API
- No Cloud Storage: We do not store any of your data on our servers or in the cloud
- No Data Transmission: Your blocked sites list and preferences never leave your device
- No Analytics: We do not collect usage analytics or tracking data
5. Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, or transmit any of your data to third parties. Your information remains private and stays on your device.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
- Your data is retained until you uninstall the extension or manually clear it
- You can delete all extension data by uninstalling SiteBlockr from Chrome
- You can also manually clear data through the extension's options page
7. Permissions Explanation
SiteBlockr requests the following permissions:
- storage: To save your blocked sites list and preferences locally
- declarativeNetRequest: To block access to websites in your list
- host_permissions (<all_urls>): To block any website you choose to add to your list
8. Children's Privacy
SiteBlockr does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The extension is designed for general productivity use and does not target children specifically.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
